Beaches

Every beach has its own character. Some are wide and sheltered, making them ideal for families with young children, while others are perfect if you’re looking for a little more peace and quiet. And if you fancy ending the day by the sea with a drink or a bite to eat, you’ll find several welcoming beach pavilions along the coast.

Dogs are welcome on all beaches, although different rules apply depending on the time of year.

Our tip: Hop on your bike. The routes take you through the dunes, the landscape is pleasantly flat, and you can skip the hassle of finding a parking space altogether.

Sint Maartenszee beach

3 km

It’s just a ten to fifteen-minute bike ride away through the dunes, or around half an hour on foot. Sint Maartenszee beach is wide, wonderfully peaceful and home to two beach pavilions that are open in both summer and winter.
